Every Thursday, year round, a resource advocate from The Healthcare Connection is at our location to assisting individuals to apply for benefits such as food assistance, cash assistance, and/or medical coverage.

A CAA staff member visits our location on select Thursdays throughout the year for PIPP Plus Enrollment & Recertification(year-round), and to process applications for Winter Crisis Program (November 1st through March 31st).

In order to apply, you must provide all required documentation (CAA Required Documentation) and you must meet the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

The Hamilton County Educational Service Center operates a Head Start program at Lockland Elementary School for children ages 3 to 5 years old.  The full-day classes taught by qualified early childhood teachers are intended to help children enter kindergarten ready to learn. The full day session operates from  7:50 am-1:50 pm.  Nutritious meals and snacks are provided as a component of this comprehensive program as well as a variety of educational screenings.  The program is free to families that qualify.  To enroll or for more information please contact HCESC, at 513-674- 4329 or visit  We look forward to partnering with you to prepare our youngest generation of learners for the future!  Space is limited!

An HCESC Family Service Worker will be at our location every Tuesday, beginning Tuesday April 4th, from 10:00AM-2:00PM. The Family Service Worker will see walk-in customers interested in enrolling their child at any Head Start location or interested in enrolling in additional HCESC programs. Walk-ins, served on a first come first serve basis. Sign up at the VICRC front desk.
